Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Sunday that his country will open two hospitals, "Ataturk Airport" and "Sanjak Tibbah" in Istanbul, in front of medical tourism.
This came during his participation via video technology, at the ceremony of completing the construction of the tunnel of the metro line “Giret Teba - Istanbul Airport”.
President Erdogan expressed his confidence that Turkey will get rid of the Coruna epidemic before the countries of the world, if the people adhere to the measures.
He stressed that "while Turkey was able to meet its needs and provide support abroad to combat Corona, the developed countries stood powerless."
Erdogan stressed that his country is very interested in medical tourism, and touched on the construction of two hospitals, "Ataturk Airport" and "Sanjak Tibbah" in Istanbul.
He added, "Those arriving from abroad with the aim of medical tourism, will come to these two hospitals via planes and ambulances, where we will leave them safe after completing their treatment."
He pointed out that he conducted the last Saturday, the last inspection of the construction work of the two hospitals, stressing, "God willing, we will open them by the end of Eid al-Fitr."
On April 6 last year, Erdogan announced that two new hospitals will be established in Istanbul’s Ataturk Airport and “Sanjak Tibbah” in a period not to exceed 45 days, with the aim of combating the Corona virus.
On the metro line, Erdogan indicated that the tunnel construction works are underground with 70 meters, indicating that as he enters service, the transportation problem to Istanbul airport will be solved radically.
He explained that the metro line connects Istanbul airport and the city center, considering that it will "enhance Istanbul's international position."
Erdogan affirmed that his government will continue to make its way towards further upgrading Turkey, saying: "The Coruna virus, etc., will not stop us, and we will continue our march with the same determination."
He continued: "With God's help and care, and with the help of the people of the people, we will continue to move forward in the race to provide services until our last breath."
