The Turkish Ministry of Trade allows the export of artificial respirators without the need for prior permission

The Turkish Ministry of Trade issued a decision to allow the export of artificial respirators without the need for prior permission from the ministry, noting that the respiratory devices had been removed from the list of goods subject to prior licensing.

And the official newspaper published the new decision, today, Saturday, which entered into force directly.

After this decision, it became possible to export these devices without the need for prior permission from the relevant and competent authorities.

The decision also includes the export of ethyl alcohol, cologne, and disinfectant without prior permission.

On March 31, the technical director of the Turkish company, "Baikar", Selcuk Bayrakdar, unveiled the first artificial respirator of local production.

On April 20, the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology delivered the first 100 home-made ambulatory devices to the Basaksehir Medical Complex, which was opened by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The home-made respirator is a successful device compared to its counterparts in the world, according to Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Warnek.
