Istanbul Municipality announced the opening of a new metro on 05/19/2020 bearing the name M7, which runs on the Kabataş - Mahmutbey line and includes 19 stations, which works by electronic system, ie the metro without a driver.
The metro is characterized by its arrival in a number of metros of Istanbul, starting from Mahmutbey station, through which one can move to the M3 metro (kirazlı - metrokent) connecting from Karazli to Basaksehir.
It is also possible to transfer from Karadeniz Mahallesi Station to Tramfai T4 (Topkapı - mescid-i Selam) connecting from Topkapi to the Peace Mosque.
It also connects to the Çağayan metrobus station, Mecidiyeköy metrobus station and the M2 metro station.
It also extends to Kabataş Tramvai T1 station connecting (Kabataş - Bağcilar) and from the same station you can ride ferries to the Asian section and IDO ferries that go to Bursa.
