Sabancı University established in 1996 that was after convening a research conference by the Sabancı institution. Over 50 academicians from 22 countries attended the conference, in addition to students and representatives of the private sector.

During the conference, they discussed how the leading educational institutions in Turkey manage their work and which methodologies they follow. After the conference, Sabancı institution decided in 1994 to establish the University to become a global University in the center of Istanbul.

Sabancı University includes three faculties with 13-bachelor program, 46 master’s program and 15 for the Ph.D.

• The student must not be less than 80% in high school, if he pursues to apply for bachelor degree.
• The student can obtain an additional scholarship, in addition to the discounts offered by the OK TAMAM Group, for the students who are registered through it, the additional scholarship is determined by the university based on the student’s academic excellence (His/ Her Marks), preferably by documenting them and the student should send them to the team of OK TAMAM.
